i got caught for doing 89 in a 70, but the cop wrote it for going 85 in 70. the big problem is it is in jackson,mi.....about 2 hours from my house. is there any way that i can get out of this ticket by calling in, and not get any points? i don't have a great record, but haven't gotten a pull over since march last spring. by the way, my uncle is a lawyer with connections......that should factor into this. help me out

One of the members from Az was in Cali and got stopped for his exhaust being too loud, and he had to go back to that jurisdiction and have his hearing.

Sorry bro, but you're gonna have to go there for your hearing unless you can just pay the fine. Then you wouldnt have to go.

Call the court and ask, Im sure you're not the first one this has happened to.

AND, the officer prolly dropped the speed on your ticket to save your ***, so be thankful.
