how blue is too blue???

i got these new headlights and they pretty bright, but wit a blue tint, now im afraid they might get me pulled over, any of you guyz got any idea how blue is too blue, i dunno wut brand i got, cuz all the writing is in japanese only english characters is h4 and HID. cost me 40 bux.

prolly nokyas which are legal in most places but your in cali, so i am not even gonna go there. those laws are soooo strict

nope...they'll be fine. the nokya's i had were blue too, but nothin ever happened, until they blew out...then i just went to projectors. still have the new nokya bulbs though and nothing has happened, so i'd say ur safe

Check if you can find the letters DOT on the bulb anywhere. If you can, they're department of transportation approved and 100% legal. If not, I'm sure if you took a trip down to the police station and asked them, you'd get a straight answer. They're not likely to ticket someone making sure they dont break the law.

I had some blue bulbs they were for show or off road use only had them till I got pulled over and got a fix it ticket that cost me $10 and going to the highway patrol to get it signed off, but heard from a friend that if you get caught again that its a misdeminor.

ive had mine on now for like a month, no problem, cops see it all da time at night, dont do nuthin, so i guess its cool

I heard that if a cop puts a white piece of paper in the headlight beam and it shows through blue, then it's too blue...
