Hit and Run.

Last night I was on my way toward exit 95 on I-10 when I notice two head lights screaming up toward the back of my civic. The vehicle was a 2003 F-150 with an optional sports package, it was dark grey/blue/black. The driver attempted to go around me (not nearly enough room), but slammed in to the side of my civic. He broke off his tail light, as well as my side view mirror and scratched up my front wheel well. He then proceeded to exit as if nothing had happened. I followed him a little ways but he didn't stop. I assume he was drunk because he attempted to lose me in a grocery store parking lot, with no cars in it. I finally confronted him opposite directions, I flagged him down. He stopped momentarily and then hauled *** out of the parking lot down the street. I called the police and filed the report. He said that if it was found that it was road rage I might be held partly responsible for the accident. Isn't his failure to stop going to get him in trouble to begin with? Is it likely that they will try and get me in trouble for this guys idiocy. Oh yeah, I also managed to write down his license plate number, and the officer said it matched my description to the bone.

That sucks. Someone hit my car, but it was parked and I never saw who did it. Don't worry. They'll find the guy with the plate number and he'll be responsible for everything.

Was he saying road rage like if you speed up to stop him from getting if front & he did it anyway?? I am wondering cuz I do that sometimes when I know some asswipe is about to cut me off, I still think it would be all their fualt even if you did seeing as he swerved into your lane.
