Rust.. dammit

There's some rust developing underneath the car on both sides, just below the doors. It's pretty bad.. and I'm afraid that if I let it go for too long, it'll get way worse and spread even more.

I've had the undercarriage/wheel wells/hood/trunk sprayed down at Dan's Muffler Shop the last few years, and at Ziebart before that. What should I do? Is it difficult to remove it myself? (although I have no idea how) And how much do body shops charge for that? I'm guessing it's a lot though, and I don't have that kind of money right now...

PS. There was no rust there prior to this winter

WhiteHalf is an unknown quantity at this point
Yeah man .. if you get it rust proofed every year you should have no rust developing. We get all our cars Krown'd ... and none have developed rust. My dad had a '94 Grand Prix, Krown'd every year, and not a speck of body rust.

yea but Dan's was all under the table.. so how can he warranty that?

I'll take some pics tomorrow, but what's supposed to be done? Like, should I sand it down and then throw some primer on if I don't wanna take it to a body shop yet?

Mike, yeah, it's the 1999 Grand Prix.
