f**king ppl these days have no respect for other ppls cars.......... and they dont know how to f**king park. or even get out of a f**king parking lot.

sorry, dunno how much to get it fixed.

as for driving around with a scratch/cracked bumper... dont really matter at htis time of the year... its dirty and cold and it may snow.... if its summer, it'll be a different story.

i really dont want to drive around like this...

the front lip thing just goes over the stock bumper right?

Looks fixable, no need to buy a whole new bumper.

Anyway, i'm estimating $200-300 max. Not too bad...

That doesn't even look like someone hit you. Looks like you scuffed a curb. I don't understand what sort of car would have an extending part that goes that low. I'm assuming their bumper would have hit you before anything and that would have been much higher. Not to mention the nature of the scuff. It looks like a bunch of scratches, like you hit something with a roughly textured surface.

heheh, but i'm sure you're not misleading us because you feel stupid. : )

I'm assuming $300-400 to paint that bumper. Or you could just get a lip and cover up the scratches. You might still be able to see some spidering in the paint, but... You could try to convince your insurance company that it's unrepairable so they give you money for a new bumper AND the paint it will require. Since you most likely have a $500 deductable with both paint and bumper you might have enough left over to paint it.

Just a thought.

yep, the lip can come off...buying a whole new bumper may not be necessary, depending on how small the crack is, but repainting will be around $300...if you're going to get another honda bumper and honda lip just get an aftermarket bumper, you'd probably end up saving some money actually. good luck, and think about it later, worry about having a good xmas!

no it won't mess up your warranty....the damage doesn't look that bad...if you need a new black bumper you can buy mine...used if for two months....let me know...also...why not just buy a whole new aftermarket bumper? should cost you much less....by the way..i know this is off topic..but is your dad the one...with the black mustange GT R? if so i think i was talking to him once..and auto sound and security...i think he will remember me the one with the yellow 7th gen sedan anyways good luck..and your dads ride is sick

Dude that sucks man... If you're not looking to buy an aftermarket bumper, buy stillmatik23's OEM bumper and then just buy a nice aftermarket lip.

Sorry to hear that dude! As long as it gets fixed I guess. I had the same thing happen to me 3 weeks after getting my car back from a paint job! At least it was someone I know so I don't need to be worried about paying for it.
