Rep Power: 302 That was an awesome game!
Finally got to go to the Scotia Bank place for the first time of the season and got to see the Sens eliminate the Lightning! They played well, even if they let in a few goals. The cup is ours!!!

Rep Power: 539 I thought I saw some of you fools on CBC while I was watching the game..lol.
Great game for sure...I was hoping that the call against Shaeffer wasn't going to ruin the end but thankfully it didn't.
Ottawa is getting some good praise out here on the radio but unfortunately until Edmonton and Calgary are gone I'll have to keep calling in the radio programs on the way into work to boast about our team...GO SENS GO!!

Though that isn't to say a lot of the threads in this subsection get slightly off topic anyways

Rep Power: 291 I'm a little dissapointed with how Ottawa did a lousy job holding off Bufflao EVERY time they got ahead on Friday. Bryan Murray will deffinately be talking to his hockey club about that loss. Thats for sure. They need to be able to hold off they're offensive players. Lets hope game 2 is a better one.

Rep Power: 539 I'm sure Ottawa will come out just as strong but shore up the blueline and not give the puck away so damn much. Aside from that they basically owned the Sabres for 60 minutes....here's hoping for a win tonight!

Rep Power: 281 ^we don't need Hasek. We need Alfie to stop making amature mistakes and we need our defence to start passing better and keeping control on the buffalo players when they are in our zone. The 2 times buffalo scored was on a 2 on 1 advantage. Buffalo had 6 breakaways in game one and they had four breakaways in game 2...our goaltending has nothing to do with the loss it's our sloppy defence. BTW the crock is brinking

Rep Power: 0 Hiya rounda eye ... those two goals were the defenses fault. And Alfie was playing like shiit that game. However, you never know - with the dominator - he just might have stopped those pucks. Stanley Cup winning goalie and best average in the league how many years - this guy can pull saves out of his ****.

Alfie was better in the last game but he needs to step it up. I think they might have to play him with Spezza and Heatley a little more often in the games from this point on.
The defense wasn't AS suspect but two mistakes led to two easy goals. I would have liked to see Emery play the breakaway a little better but you still can't really fault him on it.
the only thing that pissed me off was how they played in the final 1.5 minutes of the game...everything else was fine. A repeat performance tonight should yield better results. There's no way Buffalo can withstand that kind of attack for two more games and expect to win.
"Miller Time" isn't for real. If you watch the guy he's almost always looking around after the puck hits him somewhere....he's got the biggest horse shoe up his *** I've ever seen.

Rep Power: 0 The thing is, is why doesn't the Ottawa defencemen, on a 2 on 1 take the pass. **** that **** is taught in pee-wee. That's where Chara got caught. Let Emery take the shot and you take the pass.
Either that or you in right away and take out the man, at the mid way point past the blue line.
Heya Rounda Eye, da light ish shtew brinking ...

Rep Power: 291 Game 3 isn't looking too hot at the moment. Hopefully we can scrounge up a couple goals in the 3rd. If we go down 3-0 It will more than likely be an early golf season for the Sens. Lets cross our fingers!
