What are your winter projects?

This forum is dyin...thought I'd try to revive some conversation.

What are you queers doing over the winter? Got any plans for the car in the spring, or over the winter?

I'm pricing insurance right now (again) for a new/used bike...I want a different one. Doubt I'll be able to afford the insurance, but if I can, then I'm all for a gixxer/ducati.

Oh, and Abe: your mom called...she told me she wants her underwear back...can I give it to you to mail it to her? It's kinda big...you might need one of those sea/freight containers. Thanks.

my winter project is to get a bike by spring and keep the civic running reasonably well. I priced out the timing belt on it yesterday at the local dealer but thanks to the VERY limited mileage I actually put on each week I'm not too concerned about it right now.

^ Dude that would be a killer frankenstein engine! The block from a CRV and the head from a TSX. I actually have that article in one of my Honda Tuning mags. They did the swap into a 7thgen coupe.

My plans are basically on hold. I have more important things to be saving up for at the moment. BUT If I can get a good price on Tokico shocks. I'll be doing those.

I really wish I could get rims this year, but I dont know where the money would come from since I dont even have a job yet. (In university)
And probably tint in the summer, but that's not winter... so I guess nothing for winter at the moment but to wash my car some time soon.

I heard she asks for special sauce on the side, and leaves it till the end.. then licks it all up

my project will likely be to get an older 4x4. Jenny and I are constantly hitting up somewhat remote places to go hiking and in the springtime, kayaking....so I think a 4x4 will come in handy...the CIvic just isn't so practical for that sorta thing..lol.

maybe an older 4-Runner or Pathfinder..something like that.

just ordered a new fuel managment system, installing it then calibrating everything then setting it all up to work properly looks like it'll be loads of fun, then its time for a real exhaust and some real intercooler pipes. No more of this plumbing stuff from under a sink in my car.
