Tibb: As Noise said "black car and black w/ polished lip rims = teh sexyness" that is what we had on the Alero (yes I said Alero to you F*$&ers out there) and they looked SICK on a black car! I totally say go with something like that or I saw a Tib with just all polished and that looked pretty good too!

Like i said, they just jump on it like flies on **** cuz they got nothin better to do. By the way, ive seen some nice black rims wit chrome lips on ebay, Montegi Riax Black rims, 10 spoke, 4 or 5 bolt patterns, chek them out.

This may be a stupid question but do civics and tibs have the same bolt pattern?

I feel like editing/deleting a good number of these posts just to stick with the topic, but -- okay so I did

Also, as I don't know what car it is exactly - to my knowledge Tiburons changed from 4 bolts to 5 bolts in 2002 .. so 1997-2001 would be the same bolt pattern as civics basically, but not 2002-2005. Though still not even sure if they are 4x100 or if the other pattern(s)..

Sorry that the title, body, and general question sucked and some how everyone takes it out on me?

Anyway I gave a good, useful link in my post. So Thanks for deleting my post whoever did and putting it in another one. I shall not try and make this site better anymore, since that is now bad.


No helping straighten out bad posters by telling them how to fix their habbits that everyone else will flame them for!!!!


What I learned from my post getting totally deleted:
1. Giving a vauge question is ok even though there are thousands of answers and no real info given to eliminate possibilities.
2. Naming a thread "Rims" is ok cause if your question has something to do with them. we don't need descriptive titles, just everyone use the same words so this forum becomes un-browsable.
3. No telling people what they drive, if its not a civic. Shhh, its a secret.
4. No telling people to use the search!!!

So if one of those is incorrect why did the whole post get deleted?

that will all get deleted anyway cause now you guys are acting like the 7 year olds i watch every day at work. actually they are more mature. the guy gave no info, just a color, and thats it. so why be nice. i gave him a place to start and said use the search. everyone else, especially noise im sure, has said it before but im not allowed cause we gotta be all tough about ottawa people now for some reason. grow up guys. not everyone takes the site as serious as you do. i just wanted to tell him that his post needed some work so thanks for helping out by yelling at me and not the guy who asked a stupid question.

no one would flame him for what he asked, as he posted in the Ottawa subforum, which is made specifically for ppl in the above mentioned region to communicate with each other, without interrupting the other sections on this forum. We know the guy personally, as he comes out to most weekly meets, so there would be absolutely no flaming involved.

Yet you had to jump in with your points and try to correct him, which there was no reason for whatsoever, as he was asking the Ottawa-based group, and not the more general 7thgencivic.com crowd.

Oh and that last bullet you had (deleted): "this is a Civic site. You drive a Tib." (or something along those lines) was just straight out ignorant. Why do you care what he drives??? A lot of ppl on this site either don't drive a Civic anymore, or never even owned one. So, should they all stop posting too??

apparently you take it more seriously than anyone else who replied to this thread, because you felt the need to correct pretty much everything he posted.

And no one is acting tough... I just got ticked off by your outright ignorance and rudeness. And this is not your first post that made me think that way.

diskreet, I took those actions .. and I was going to private message you about it, but unfortunately I forgot that action ( as I was called out rather quickly by my brother in need) The flow of the thread quickly was leaving the initial question posed. My actions on your post (and others) were undertaken as the hostilities were apparent. Your post felt very condesending and did not seriously need to be address within the confines of a regional based group - especially one as tight as the Ottawa gang.

Everyone is welcomed to post here, just as they are allowed to post whenever they have acces - however people still do not have to come off rude and/or worse.
