Fate of an old car
I need you guys for an opinion poll, I'm not sure what i should do with my car. It's and older car with 197km on it. Although the engine is still healthy and 1/2 of the car is new from repairs I've done to it. Do you guys think its worth restoring to its original beauty (theres hardly any rust underneth it) and getting it repainted? (umm 350z white with the metalic stuff in it). Or just getting a new car?
I got rid of my Laser cause of the same problems you are haveing now I was just fed up with repairing it and you know how many time I tell you that I should have just kept it I say keep the beast for at least another year think of all the things you can buy with a 300$ car payment for your car instead of a new one.......

yea good call on that one, aside from a clutch and brakes it doesnt "need" anything, I was thinking of something of equal speed or so, I'd hate downgrading my car. Lucky for me insurance is a lot cheaper in quebec so even newer cars wouldn't be so bad, right now im only paying 575$ a year for 1st driver on my car.

ditch the Evo....not legal here.
shandon: it all depends on the money! Honestly its a fast car, but i dont know how much i would put into an older car....ive just gotten really luck to have a newer car, but the downside is its not fast. Like in order to get a new car thats as fast as urs ur gonna need to spend alot...unless u get like an eclips gst of something....thats a little newer than ur laser, but it migh still have the same problems....id say get a decently fast car and work ur way up if u want reliability....if not then spend the cash on ur car or an older gst or talon or something!

for example, today, car wont idle when its -1'c outside. At the end of school my battery mysteriously died. Stupid car, the pump runs it way to rich at idle and it misses like crazy when its cold, my lights weren't on they weren't even up lol. Maybe i'll just buy a beater car and make this some kind of track/weekend car.
