Talking Hey Ottawa....I need boxes!

I'm moving either in August or September so I need some boxes to pack all my crap in.

The place is being listed tomorrow and I have to be prepared to leave by August earliest. If anyone has some boxes I can use I would appreciate it!

Mike, had I known earlier, we had a SHIAT LOAD of boxes... enough boxes for like 3 trips to the cardboard bins downstairs. We might have a few, what size are you looking for?

We used http://www.adamsmoving.ca/ last time we moved (and it will be the last damn time, we have too much junk to consider moving again). They had boxes & supplies for sale -- you could opt for 'new' boxes, or 'used' ones for a cheaper price. They also would buy back packing material & boxes from you (of course at a slightly lower price).

Of course buying boxes cost more than getting free ones but the boxes you got from them were very regular sizes, which packed & stacked well.

We also had them move our stuff for us too (we packed) and it wasn't that expensive if you consider how much heavy junk we had. I moved my stereo & some fragile stuff ourselves afterwards.

Mike, get me a price from a moving company, and I'll call my contact I have at Fred Guy moving (through Home Depot deliveries) and I'll ask him how much it would cost you for a full size box truck and 2 movers. (comes standard with a truck)

In case anyone is not familiar with who they are, they are contracted out through the Home Depot (they use a 36' trailor and tractor) to delivery shait. When needed I call and book a second truck (box truck) so calling them won't be a problem. Dave (my contact) is a prety cool guy.

They also are contracted out to all the Sears stores. If you buy stuff from Sears and get it delivered, they will be the ones delivering it.

These guys also move across Canada
