Unhappy Nov 4th Roll over in the ice rain.

On Nov. 4th there was ice rain from hell.

I was thinking about switching to my winter tires just days before this.
This is what can happen on summer tires with less than half tread.

I was on Hunt Club coming from Moodie going to the south bound 416,
never made it throught the on ramp. at 60km/h and the *** end came around 180 degrees.
Slid into the ditch and rolled. That ditch is about 10 to 12 feet deep.
Fire fighter say I was lucky to walk away.
Only a compression fracture on a vertabras in my back.

Lesson here... Put you Winter Tires on early. So what if you use them up more. It can save your life and your car.

This is my first post with a pic... I will see if it works.

One more pic

Here is another.

The seat covers are lame ones with the dragons, I know.
But since I put more than 62,000 km in a year,
I was only planning on keeping the car 2 years and trading up.
This was to keep the seats in mint condition to help with trade-in price.

I'm now in a new 04 LX sedan. Same rims and color.

Yeah, I'm starting to really like the new '04 sedan.
The headlights are better (almost like the tsx/accord. 9005/9006 bulbs. and signals are already clear... just need to change the bulb to "silver vision")...the A/C does NOT come on when you run the defrost.. no more playing with the buttons on startup to cancel it.

Just added rest of pics to My Gallery

Bad weather is coming again damit. Be careful tonight driving around.

Making me nervous, I think I'll be taking the slow route home today.

Today .. Cloudy. 60 percent chance of snow or ice pellets or freezing rain early this afternoon. Wind becoming east 20 km/h this morning. High zero.
Tonight .. Cloudy. Periods of rain beginning near midnight. Risk of freezing rain near midnight. Wind east 20 km/h. Temperature rising to 5 by morning.
