!!!CONSUMER ALERT!!!
If I have ruined your thread I apologize but I think it's only fair that interested buyers know that these speakers are part of a long-time SCAM. HEck, I almost got suckered into buying these speakers once from a guy who approached me in a parking lot. He was selling them for cheaper, I won't say how much cheaper but he was very convincing. I did some research on Proline and they're not a recognized audio company. I'm sorry if you got suckered in here but it's not fair to try and sucker someone else in.

WHITE VAN SCAM ALERT!
My most sincere and humble appologies for the negative post, but I am looking out for the best interest of ALL 7thgencivic.com members. These speakers are garbage. They are worse than anything you'd find at Future Shop or even Radio Shack for that matter.
I wouldn't pay more than 75 bucks for the pair. Even then, you're still getting ripped off because they WILL sound like crap.
Before you start attacking my post, I do know what I'm talking about. I worked for 2 years as an engineer at very high-end loudspeaker company, and I can smell crappy speakers a mile away.
Buyer beware - these things are pure crap.
Could it be that the van has his the 7thgen headquarters? lol
for real though man, you got anything to prove the purchase/purchase price?
also, if someone wants them, can they come to your house, hook them up with you and blast them to see how good they work?
It's discouraging to buyers to see that as soon as the words 'White Van Scam' were mentioned, you havent said anything here. So if these are legit, I advise you to protect your items for sale. good luck and for the sake of everyone, I hope these are legit and you didnt try to run a scam on 7thgen members.
