stupid questions
stupid questions
i have a few stupid questions that i would like answers to:
1. where is a good place to pick up floor mats for a civic other than honda or revscene or ebay
2. once you removed your stock AM FM reciever what did you do with it? will anyone buy it?
3. i did the diy clear your own headlights and i got to the last step where you remove the screw that holds the crome piece to the housing. in the diy it said there was two philips head screws but on mine there was a 6 point screw that looked like a star. i have the screwdriver for this type but there is a little metal nub sticking up in the middle of the screw head so it is impossible to put the screwdriver head in the hole. how do i get around this?
4. where is a good place to get a upper grill insert. i want one that looks like the type r ones. just the mesh .. no 'H'...can anyone help?

1) I don't know, Canadian Tire
2)You can try posting it on the for sale forum, doubt someone will buy it tho
3)Not quite sure what you are talking about, but if it is what I think, then you can go to Canadian tire or Home Depot and get another screw like that. Or you can try this new tool that Canadian Tire is selling, the one that can unscrew old and rusted screws
4)Garage 5 or DIY

you can buy those security torx screw drivers at specialty tool stores...
you can also try using a dremel to gring away the the little metal nub...
i'd personally go with dremel..hahaha
as for OEM honda floormats, i know a guy who has a brand new OEM honda mats for sale...they're black and i think for coupes....he wanted something like $80firm because dealers sell the sets for $150...
btw, radio in bedroom idea sounds interesting...anyone want to sell one to me for $10?
i have my stock speakers sitting in my room but no radio...haha

i have both OEM mats and the imitation ones from the dealer
OEM mats have a plastic backing so water wont leak through...my imitation one doesnt.
also, the imitation ones dont fit the same...the rear piece is a tiny bit larger than it's supposed to be... the middle keeps bunching up...
