Blown: kinda, kinda not, cause it would have exceeded the cost of the turbo, and would have been way more work then the turbo, but i dunno, i like boost alot, i'm just trying to buy internals to get to 10lbs of boost then i think i'd be happy. 10lbs would put me over 200whp and that's wut i'd settle with. so right now i'm looking into upgrading the headgasket and who makes it and wut is good. then i'll start looking into rods.

Headgasket, blockguard and tuning... You should be able to get 9psi safely.

I think with one would give up way too much with the K20 swap.

Will, it's the cheaper way to enforce your cylinder walls. Well, cheaper than re-sleeving your block.

The tachometer is justice enough to the swap existing. I mean, what other engine out there could do 7500rpm and 200km/h?

actually....there's a way to make ur car do that..hahaha, i just took a pic of my car doing 240km/h at 8000rpm...hahahahha

there's this sequence u can do to test ur cluster...and ur gauges will go all the way up, then all the way down...so inorder to prove that there is infact a 1.7EL with a k20, he'll have to take pics of engine temp and gas as well..cause all the gauges go up at the same time...and if he does have a k20, the temp should stay normal...

GTracing - Do you know what the speed should be in accordance with the rpm/tire size/gear ratio? Or, are you just calling the picture fake without any proof...

I did the calculations using a tire size of 195/60/R15(stock EL size).

In 5th gear at 7500rpm I calculated the speed to be 129.1mph. Converted to km/h, that would be 207.8 km/h.
