Car Polishing
I went to a guy today for a quote on polishing my car. To fix the rock chips and totally detail the outside of the car with a glass shine will cost me $400. That does not include an interior cleaning. Is this a good price?

Oh, and he said he would need the car for 6 to 8 hours to do this... Something doesn't seem quite right to me, but then again, I usually do my own work on this sort of thing but I want to get the scratches and chips done now.
That is kind of expensive, when it comes to exterior detailing I usually do it myself. How bad are the rock chips? If they are not that bad might as well use touch up paint and fix them yourself and then detail it yourself, then get some 3M rock guard.

Blue Wolf, wait till the winter kicks in. The prices go down ablut 150-200 bucks. I was getting estimates myself and got the same quote. Do it in November, I gaurantee you will get it way cheaper from the same guy.
