since we have an account with tein and i can get it for a good price, i might just do so, but if i can't sell them, then i'm just gonna order a set of koni yellows and use those. i would like to sell them, but if not then that's ok too.

I think i'll just get the basic coilovers
whats the main difference.. I read somewhere that the only difference it the SS you can adjust it to more settings (i think 16 diff levels) and the SS you can make it compatible with the control.. lower the car from inside of your car...

Basic are good enough for me will

That is true the SS will allow you to adjust the dampners so you can determine how stiff or soft the ride is, the control is called EDFC (Electronic Dampner Force Controller) it does not allow you to lower the car from the inside. It allows you to control the dampening from inside the car, that unit is pretty costly though.

Other than dampner control the SS and Basics are very similar if not the same.

If I'm not mistaken, I don't think Tein has an EDFC application available yet for our Vics do they? Maybe the SIRs, but not the Si/Ex?

The EDFC not avail. for any Civic, our hoods do not have enough clearance.

Yeah, thats what I thought, though apparantly you can mod it? If you look at the EDFC unit, like the stepper motors, they're actually pretty small.

Yeah you can probally mod it to fit, but that is a lot of kablinky. would be nice to have esp. for auto crossing.
