Installed my Revo SS and bushing yesterday. Wow. Short *** throw. Its so short, I'm goingto end up grnding gears, cause I can't get the clutch in fast enough to keep up.

do you grind 5th sometimes? every now and then i have problems with that gear... i use to miss 2nd (wouldn't engage all the way in) but i no longer do that, just wondering if it is the way i'm driving (only driven manual 3 months now). 5th is my problem gear.

I don't grind any gears. I do have a notchy feeling with 2nd gear sometimes, but thats the problem with all of the 6-speed trannies.
The Revo SS moves over about a half an inch. Its as close to you anymore. Thats the only thing I don't like. So I'm affraid that I will miss shift and blow my motor. Its just going to take a little time to get use to. But i like it.

adjustable is nice. can you lower it or how does it work? they sell an adjustable one for the base rsx or just the type-s? also, whats the advantage of that? wouldn't you want it to just be as short as you can get it?

They make the adjustable one for the Type S only. Its all your choice on how short you want it. I can go from 25% to 40% shorter. Right now i have it set at the shortest and its great.

i got a new mod to my car when i went to go to work yesterday... courtesy of a chevy tahoe. he backed into my parked car, breaking the headlight, fender (fiberglass doesn't do so well in accidents) and slightly scraping the bumper and hood. my HID bulb appears to have survived on that side (drivers). he left his info and i just have to drop the car off to get fixed up, but it's gonna be a pain to get a new fender and some sort of headlight that will work (cleared headlight so it matchs the other side and the z3 fender). hopefully i can get a damn loaner car. 2nd time this year my parked car has been hit.
