Hey im new here and just purchased a 01 Civic coup EX auto from the dealer I work at. Couldmnt pass it up. The payment is less than the gas cost savings from keeping the Cobra in the garage. Plus it takes me back to high school and my sweet 94 LX sedan!

Anyway, im looking for a good intake. Not too familiar with civic aftermarket but I guess AEM, Injen, K&N and maybe even a weapon r (if I could replace the awful filter cover) are the top contenders. It is strange to me though that it seems all of the choices are aluminum. I know this is not the proper section but does anyone know if anyone makes a quality plastic intake to help av avoid heat soak from the engine bay?

I would appreciate pics and cost shipping or if NIB a description of all included parts would suffice.

have a brand new aem intake for the 01-05 lx mt.... dont knwo how much modification it would take to adapt though... if your interested
