SF turbo kit question

it may already have been covered, but i was wondering if you have to cut out the lower grill for the intercooler, i mean will it clear without modification to the bumper cover?

there is some modification to fit the intercooler i believe but nothing major, however Cat removed the majority of his grill for the intercooler.

We only have 4" of space between the radiator and the outside of the lower grill. Without having to cut anything, I think the IC would have to be 2"D and snug up against your radiator. I think SF's intercooler is 2.5"D.

you have to cut out the entire grill part. it is pretty much the entire unpainted black part of the bumper. Your right smokie, they are 2.5", and they snug against the AC condensor (about 1/8 inch away) and barely clear the bumper when you trim it the way we recommend.
