Wouldn't you be more proud of how the car performs than how the engine bay looks? Call me old fashion, but I would be proud of performance, not looks.

No, I think he means Turbo-performance. Last year sometime, someone got one of their kits and it sucked I think. Turbo Performance

I would be more happy with performance any day over anything. I always said that I would be happy with any car no matter how ugly it was if it was fast. What I was saying is that I want performance first and foremost, but when I open up my hood to show people, I don't want something that looks like ****. Who would?

Anyone who would spend three grand on a turbo kit obviously takes pride in their car. Why can't they DEMAND both? I do.

i demanded it, and got both.

BTW, the turbo-Performance kit was on the fiber images civic. Then drove it a few mile then took it to SFpower's shop and had him make an entirely new kit.

that pdf explains it all. Thank you! now everyone can see why a tubular collector style manifold is superior to log style manifolds. That is the best explanation i have seen yet.

I still keep my stance. Until all 3 kits have been tested (until all 3 manifolds have been tested), I'm not going to rush to judgement.

Just because someone makes "the best kind" doesn't make it the best. There is alot more that goes into a product than just the basic design.

Yes there is a lot more that goes into a product than just the basic design. There is the implementation and testing. But the basic design is the foundation of the product and if you start out with a good, proven foundation then that product is bound to be better. We are just talking about the manifolds, not the whole kit BTW.

I can understand your skepticism. The three manifolds should be pitted against each other. But what are the chances that somebody is gonna do that?

Thats why it comes down to the Kit (until the manifolds are sold separately).

A note about the exhaust manifold...

If you look at their page where they sell the exhaust manifolds seperately - you'll see that they actually DO look nice - after they are chromed. It appears that they may have just been quick in posting information about this kit, as all of the other headers they have look nice after being completely finished. I'm guessing that the manifold will be chromed.

I've emailed them with a list of questions about their kit. One thing that gets me is that it doesn't list ANYTHING about fuel management. They replied to one of my messages stating that the vortech option on the bottom of the site is NOT for our cars (web programmers maybe forgot that?).

In any case - this may be a good kit for the price! As with some of you other people out there - I'm taking the "wait and see" approach - since like you, 3 G's is a lot of money!

I'll make sure to post more info about this kit as soon as I get it.......
