from what i understand, we (automatics) may need to add a oil and tranny cooler depending on the boost. but other than that it is safe to turbo a auto, i know i'm going to!

mechanically everything should work out but ive heard many stories about the dangers ouf not being able to control the power.
There was this one guy with a turbo auto integra GSR, he was going up a slight hill just after it had rained, the car downshifted he spun, and spun.....and spun his little tires, eventually he lost control and went into the ditch because the car wouldn't upshift to a higher gear so his tires could catch.

BTW aren't the base RSX's avaiable with an auto. And the K20A3 is a DOHC iVTEC

i have an auto and i'm waiting on my SF turbo kit...i went out to autozone and found a cheap little transmission cooler for 25 bucks...its by Hayden Automotive part no. 401. The dimensions are 5"x12.75"x9.75" and its .75" thick. I am planning on putting in front of the ac condenser. It comes with a little mounting kit and a good length of hose...i think it will work nicely
