Do I really need an air fuel gauge?

I am installing nitrous (No more NOS word from me, even though I really ment the company), I have a nitrous pressure guage, do i really need an air fuel?

the a/f guage is a good safty net, and would be the first thing to tell you to lay off if something went wrong.

From my understanding a EGT gauge is more useful and accurate. A A/F gauge looks cool though
