Or is it Fuel to Air ratio, please correct me if I am wrong.

1) What is our preset ratio?
2) Does adding an intake or exhaust affect this ratio?
3) How can it be changed and what type of measuring equipment is nec?

It is 14.7:1. Thats 14.7 pounds of air to one pound of fuel. That means it takes 9000 gallons of air to burn 1 gallon of gas at the ideal ratio. At cold start ups, the ratio is 8:1. Also when you are steady cruising under a liight load, the ratio is 15:1. (Sorry, I spent $15K on college education to learn about cars, don't mind me)

Adding an intake/exhasut won't change it too much. Eventually the computer will relearn itself and compensate for the extra breathing.

The only way to change the ratio immediately would to have your computer re-programmed.
