Question return fuel line on hx, will it cause turbo problems?

after much consideration, i've decided to purchase the superior kit for my 2k2 hx cvt on my discover credit card...i figure it would come out to about 2k with the 15% discount ...whats got me confused is that a friend of my said that without a return fuel line.....the turbo would just cause some serious internal problems and it won't be worth it..... my question is....is this true, is there anyway to bypass this problem or has turbodiscounters taken care of this problem ?

what should i do......just need some opinions

i think it was mentioned in sport compact car awhile back, but the CVT can't hold much power. I think they said anything over a 40 hp increase will kill your transmission.

I haven't heard anything about the 2001+ HX CVTs not being able to handle much extra power. I know the 1996-2000 HX CVTs couldn't handle too much.

I'm not sure if a CVT can handle all that extra power, especially a cheap one, like in the civic. Chances are you will exceed the limits of the belt.
The best CVT i know of is one that Audi developed & they had to put in a lot of R&D & $$ to make it handle the outputs their V6 cars are capable of (little over 200hp). I would do more research before trying a turbo on a CVT. (or higer power mods)

The Honda CVT uses 1 metal belt (The old one used a rubber belt)
Here's how it works..

Gearboxes can handle much more power due to their design, that's why you can't see a CVT on a high- output motor (or modded motor) Even though a CVT is more efficient!

Call turbo discounters and ask. They probably know more about their parts than we do.
