i think those system were ment for drag racing when its OK to be missing a head light. Most real ram air systems actually have a air box that air can get to freely (directly behind the grill, ram air hood). But having the air box behind the head light is hardly a ram air system.
But at least their carbon fiber

Note how easily the air passes through the headlight
See if the headlight was removed then itd be a true ram air intake.
This is the only one id consider to be anything close to a ram air system

i've seen better... on the 6th gen civics, the headlight is removed a air is rammed with a a metal screen blocking the big things from getting into the throttle body..... tru ram is really effective without a filter.. i'd never run something like that on the street but i'd probably run it through every pass on the track...
got's a question..
my new CF hood is coming and it'll be an open (active) scoop..
what would be my best bet (as our TB's are vertical)..
run a SRI filter off the original airbox and direct the ram to just above it??
or get a shortie round filter and cut it into the left side (filter side) and direct the ram right above it..
i'don't wanna cut into the right side of the air box cuz i'd be getting a shyt load of water down the TB whenever it rains/snows etc..
suggestions/comments??
need asap please, going for the test fit tomorrow morning..
(ya, i know, why didn't i ask earlier..)
