keeep in mind psi is one thing, but the cfm is the rate the air actually goes into the motor. A bigger turb can run lower psi and produce more power than a smaller turbo running higher psi. 5 psi is fine on our engines, it's been done.

maybe u havent noticed but im not frm america and all where i live vics r the only type of cars ppl modify n race here. there only a few rx7s and a few bishi FTOs. and no one races em any way.its all vics.

and as for the 3psi, i chose it cuz ppl told me ill need EMS or some computer **** and i cant get that due to several reasons. so all i can increase the fuel by is 7%. so like i said if some one is 100% sure that a 5 psi turbo will do than ill go with that but i cant risk damaging my engine in any way so tell me wat to do.

and will NOS be safer.

5 psi is a very common application with our cars. the highest is about 7psi before you should look at an intercooler. with 5psi, either add an extra injector or a fuel return line, then you're good to go

You have RX7's and FTO but they dont' race it!!!!!!!! WTF???

If i had an FTO i'll be at the races every night hahhahaha

But listen to everyone on this thread..... your car will be fine with 5 psi......

If yo want 3 psi get a boost controller.... and set it.....
But don't waste your money on a turbo that's max output is 3 psi

Not worth it

If 10-15 hp is all you are looking for, an intake-header-exhaust plus an air-fuel controller might do it.
