Rep Power: 0 2001 honda civic ex engine swap
I have a 2001 honda civic ex with the 1.7l vtech engine. Well my motor blew up and I was wondering if a motor from Japan would be just a drop in replacement for my car? And yes I am going with the same exact engine just imported from japan. Any help would be appreciated!

Indeed, generally recommended to swap your sensors and throttle body but a lot people just use the donor as is.
Granted it would be awesome time to replace front/rear seals, timing belt, camshaft seal, oil pan gasket and that oil pump oring.
