I am entirely NEW to the civic world. Mostly do work on trucks. I am going to purchase an 01 civic and it runs strong and everything. BUT my "mod"instinct is wanting to upgrade the engine and turbo it. Especially since the engine has 170,000 miles on it. I know it wont last forever. so comes the engine/turbo... where do I begin? seems like there is quite a few different engines these cars can carry. This will be my DD so I don't need to go crazy but would like it to have some power when I want to push it. Can you guys point me in the right direction please?

You can turbo your D17 or swap in a k series. Stickies will explain the benefits.
