SF kit worth it? (since the went under..)
SF kit worth it? (since the went under..)
Hi, looking at buying an SF turbo kit for an '02 civic. Since SF is out of business, is it worth buying as used kit? The kit is missing unknown parts, no instructions (the ones on here don't have pics to help anymore), and won't have a parts list to compare and identify missing components.
Should I run?
Thanks for any thoughts,
Michael

lol this was prolly one of the first kits out there and not very reliable. and if something breaks, i dont know how you would fix it. there are much better quality kits by known companies.

Why would you do that to yourself? How are you gonna find these unknown parts if there isn't a list? I wouldn't do it man... It's like a buddy of mine bought an ancient supercharger (which was NIB) but took like 2 years to find a manifold to fit it to his Chevelle... And who knows what could go wrong down the road. Listen to gearbox... better yet check out Dezod's site.
