Turbo gurus's I got a few questions

ok so I installed a turbo kit. overall install went ok. I finished up today and well, of course i have a slight oil leak from the stupid oil line in the back of motor, and coolant but that's easy to fix and will do tomorrow.

My T25 garret turbo spins when I start my car and is working. Car idles and starts perfect. Using emanage.

ok so the vacuum lines go like this:

Vacuum line from the motor (next to throttle body to):

Boost Gauge//Blow Off Valve//Emanagevacc

Are these 3 things that only use the vacuum lines? and is it hooked up this way?
I have NO boost at all. and I don't get why. All my IC fittings are tight as hell I cant figure any leaks.....

As far as my wastegate, its an internal wastegaste. Now theres a vac line that goes from the wastegate actuator to the Turbo. Thats correct right?

SO what else could be a reason why I have No boost!?

Re: Turbo gurus's I got a few questions

From intake manifold to master brake cylinder
From intake manifold to boost guage (OEM and/or Aftermarket)
From intake manifold to OEM BOV
From intake manifold to fuel pressure regulator

From actuator to charge pipe direct (if solenoids are bypassed)

BOV Youll have a split "Y" to route from:
From intake manifold to Aftermarket BOV
From charcoal canistor to "Y" to aftermarket BOV
From "Y" to aftermarket BOV

From charcoal canistor to fuel purge

Also check to line to your boost controller

first just check the lines from the turbo/actuator to the boost solenoids and/or to the charge pipe.

Check the lines from the BOV regardless if its OEM or Aftermarket.

Recirc pipes are fitted

look around and see if theres anything disconnected then get back?

Have you driven the car yet?

First thing I would check is those crappy worm clamps on your charge pipe connectors. My guess is you've got a hellacious boost leak somewhere.

You vac setup sounds fine although I would give the e-manage (it's going to the emanage MAP sensor) it's own source because you want that to be as accurate as possible. But your current setup should not be preventing the turbo from building boost.

The only other thing is that the wastegate actuator is stuck and it's bleeding off all of the exhaust so the turbo can't get enough exhaust to build pressure. Back the rod in and out to make sure it moves freely.

Re: Turbo gurus's I got a few questions

hey update!!!
So yeah I got the car going, I took off my old exhaust since my car is so slow it was dragging and took it for a spin and yeah boost works for sure! I was just going too slow like 10 mph lol.
But wow i can tell a diff. I do need to get it tuned, im using the kids who i bought it from tune or whatever i do have a few problems

the coolant line has a hole in it. going to turbo SO i gotta find a line, anyone know where I can get a single one?

Autometer boost gauge never reads any boost do you have to calibrate it? or something please tell me how??

I drove it and wow totally a diff, I LOVE that bov sound so loud.

I wanna get the exhaust work done tomorrow if i have time. Should I keep the cat? or remove it? I have the greddy sp2 catback

let me know i have more questions but will ask once I get these. lol

Re: Turbo gurus's I got a few questions

Which coolant line has a hole in it? There at least 6 in the engine ba y.

Autometer gauge is mechanical or electrical? If it's mechanical, you probably kinked the line somewhere getting it from the engine bay, thru the firewall and in to the gauge. Check that first.

If you don't need to pass emissions ever, then dump the cat.

Re: Turbo gurus's I got a few questions

autometer guage....just connect the high pressure line straight to the intake manifold.

as for the turbo, unless you plan on upgrading the turbo leave the dump pipe alone. Otherwise youll see boost spikes come up.
Get it TUNED, and spend the money here, A good tune will keep you running properly. Cheap out here and kiss your engine/turbo good bye!
