which turbo?
going to boost my 01 ex soon. having trouble deciding which turbo to get.
my options are:
t25 kit
t25bb kit
t28 kit
t28bb kit
or putting together a t30 kit
im really leaning more toward the t28bb because it makes good power, but is still reliable for everyday driving. but my minds kinda been circling around the
t30. i know its all about what the driver likes but id kinda like to get some other opinions.

Re: which turbo?
im not sure on power. my goal for the car is around upper 200's, but thats with internals and whatnot, or more if i can squeeze some more out of it like an orange. hahaha but that will be a while from now.
but as for the turbo, id def. like to break 200hp if not more

Re: which turbo?
Not a cheap turbo, but a fantastic one:

Of course, I have a journal bearing turbo for sale, I guarantee this thing will make 350 whp, I've done it. it's a t3/t4 57 trim. It's in great shape, no shaft play, bolt it on and go. I only want 250 for it and I have some other parts that you may be interested in, as well. Just click the link in my sig.

Re: which turbo?
making 350hp would be sweet expecally with out any internal upgrades, lol. but do you everyday drive with your car? cuz my civic is all i have to drive.
and i may just take you up on that offer for your turbo
250 looks like a good price

Re: which turbo?
Well, you have to understand. It takes more than JUST a turbo to make that much power. You need headwork, intake manifold, beefed up fuel system, etc. There are all kinds of threads on what parts make power but if you have the right combination, this would be a great turbo.
And for your peace of mind, I've sold an entire turbo kit for 2k on this forum, just check my user feedback, I always come through and I never screw anyone over in the 6 years I've been on this forum.

Re: which turbo?
yea of course theres head, fuel upgrades lol
id seriously buy it off you right now, if i had the cash for the whole package. but right now the only thing i could afford is the turbo itself, i just bought shocks this morning, so im kinda tapped out this month lol. and id have to get an engine management bc i wont run a turbo without it, just for cautionary standards.
i take your word for it, i dont think youd screw someone over.
but as soon as i get the cash together, if you still have it for sale, id be more than ready to take it off your hands

Re: which turbo?
For BOV, You want a name brand like greddy, tial, hks, etc. As far as size goes for the wastegate, any size will do. Engine management, hondata kpro all the way.
