F/IC Tuning !

Hi guys. I got my aem f/ic last week and I have been playing with the maps. I am runing 310cc injectors so i pulled -22% fuel in the whole map. Then i began to tune it. The thing is that in 6-7000 rpm the car is runing at 96% injector duty , and the map its on +10.2% fuel on that area . I am confused now cause if you can change the fuel in +/-100%, why does it max out in 10% and not in say 96% fuel? I am tuning with the MAF since i dont have the hose for the MAP installed yet. Can someone help?

Re: F/IC Tuning !

i believe those percentages are based on factory injector settings since the F/IC can only modify the signals to make the ecu do what you want. since rsx injectors are apparently only 22% larger than oem, adding 100% more fuel than stock will way more than max them out by (i'm guessing) about 80%. hence the reason adding 30% give or take from the same amount of fuel with rsx injectors maxes them out. i say get bigger injectors. i've got a set of 440cc stg0 srt's if you want em. hope that helps a little. from what i've learned playing with the f/ic, its way easier to use the map table. so get that vac line hooked up. just run a line through the firewall, there is a vac source you can tap in the intake mani not too far from that grommett.
