Emissions

Does turboing your car effect emissions? I have a d17 and want to turbo but i am not sure if it will pass or not

I passed in Jersey. There's guys here who've gotten past Cali emission, I think.

as long as you havent removed the emmisions parts your alright,
this includes:

CAT
EGR
PCV
etc....

its also another thing Transport-cops look for on roadside checks

I passed too. Technically, if you leave your emmision systems intact and accounted for, you'll pass if you're in closed loop mode.... even with larger injectors.(not too large though).
I'm not passing now though since I pulled my primary 02 sensor plug. I'm running in open loop all the time, which makes my emanage act more like a standalone and I STILL get awsome fuel economy (385-395 miles per tank) and 12.3 AFR on boost.......

so don't worry dude.
