Re: Internal of the transmission
yeah you can say the lsd but that as noted by others is not proven yet.
also from his post he is saying internals like the shafts and gears, if you look around some of the top turbo people they just through a upgraded clucth in and run that. if you look into some of the post made by (turboengineer, miyka) he was running high hp and his trans was ok.
also andyman his trans is ok so you should be fine with what you got

My bad i should have specified ya there are "toughe converters" for autos but i tried foever to get an aftermarket tranny or any kind of parts.
Re: Internal of the transmission
contact level 10 for their bulletproof auto tranny and high stall torque converter. after that, slap on a B&M tranny cooler and your good to go. Its expensive though. Dont expect making an auto tranny beefier to be cheap.

Why waste any money on an auto tranny? Just take the money you would spend, get a good clutch and convert to manual. There are certain sacrifices that come with power. If you can't make any, you shouldn't be trying to mod.
Re: Internal of the transmission
Your right, there are certain sacrifices that come with making power but the transmission is not one of them. Many of us arent looking for big numbers, just a little better daily driver. As for your opinion of wasting money on an auto, I beg to differ. I think its prefectly reasonable but of course, thats my opinion.
Re: Internal of the transmission
If you're looking for a 40-50 whp increase, this does not apply to you. I'm talking about people who are looking for serious gains.a 40 or 50 whp increase isn't going to necessitate internal transmission work. I'm speaking within the context of the question being asked.
If you're making enough power to need that kind of work done, its a waste of money if, for no other reason than the drivetrain power loss. Not to mention the cost-effectiveness.

Re: Internal of the transmission
Everyone that says the lsd might not work doesnt know jack. Everyone can say the glass is half empty. Really, would a company like Quaife say they got a product for a car that doesnt fit... There is a slight possabilitiy that it might not work, but look at it like this- how many ppl have had problems with the simplest of things. Finally they get it done, then down the line they complain about XYZ which was due to their own fault. *throws hands up* forget it. Point blank- I'd be amazed if it didnt work.
