Re: aem cam gear
for you its worth it but only if you get it dyno tuned. get the 5 bolt not the old 3 bolt that has been known to come loose and blow up engines. only downside is the stock dust cover does not fit over it, so its open to whatever rocks and junk can fall in and stall it
Re: aem cam gear
who told you thi sbro? its not ture. i have a 5 bolt on right now and i have nothin modded cover wise. fits perfect...

Re: aem cam gear
Its only got 1 cam.... the gear isnt going to do a hell of a lot, because you cant phase intake and exhaust separately. You just advance it all the same amount, or retard it all the same amount. You might gain 2 HP playing around with it, but with boost.... you can make 2 HP with an extra 1/4 psi, so why bother?
It works well on twin cams because you can adjust the overlap of intake and exhaust, but with a single cam, it does very little for the effort.
