Wait a sec, I'm no expert because I've never researched the intake manifold. but I've definately heard of that combination before. I'm not saying you're wrong speedfoos, but I just think that it's possible it'll fit with modification of course. I donno, but this sounds familiar to me, I think it's been discussed before, maybe a search will yield informative results.

Naw man. Not possible. Look at the bolt patterns. See how the D16 top mounting holes are right above the ports and the D17s are are in between them. The only way it could work is if the D16 mani was solid all the way across and you had new top holes drilled. But that's if the ports even line up.
