fuel questions!

i am planning on turboing my 2002 ex at 7 psi. i was going to use the rsx type s injectors and a walbro fuel pump with a apexi safc for tuning. then i got to looking at fuel pressure regulators and fmu's. and i was just needing help to wether the apexi safc, type-s injectors, and walbro fuel pump will be enough for my fuel delivery, or if i needed to get a fmu, a pressure reg, or both??? please help!

Re: fuel questions!

the best would be a standalone like AEM or hondata. but since you're only going to be boosting 7 psi, rsx-s injectors and an e-manage should do you just fine.

Or the PCS-XFC. A fair amount of folks have been using that setup with success. I'll be using it myself on 7 psi boost project in 18 days. You should be fine with the stock pressure regulator, Walbro pump, RSX-S injectors and the PCS. Its recommended to convert to a return fuel system, but not required.

Re: fuel questions!

If you want reliability and trouble free operation day in and day out, standalone is the only way to go as far as tuning. For fuel delivery, rsx injectors and a walbro in tank pump should suit you fine at 7 psi.

Re: fuel questions!

well thats good to know...saves me $400 for now...and would it be better to run the e-manage or the apexi safc? i was planning on the safc because i have some knowledge on them and my friend has one on both his boosted integra and boosted civic and he tuned them himself so i figured that would be the easiest way to go...but if e-manage will work better with that setup tell me otherwise...and standalone is to much for my income
