what parts of the auto tranny can be upgraded to withstain nitrous or turbo?

what i mean is when you buy a bigger clutch from clutchmasters or sum1 else are they all for the 5 speed , or does the same apply to auto's ?

Ugh. Good question. My hipshot says swap to a mani trans, but that's the lazy way out of answering your question and not feasible in most cases.

I don't know but off the top of my head I would get motor mount inserts and an engine stiffy to keep the lump steady when its boosted or bottle fed. Other than that, I really don't know. Hope that helps and I'm sure someone here will pipe up who's had experience with that set-up.

there are a few tranny "build-up" kits for the auto, but not many.

You need to get TCI racing master overhaul kit and torque converter, the kit comes with the clutch upgrade.
