Swap Qustion
I'm thinking of getting a 2JZ for my sc300 and i just wanted to know if the guys that have swapped their motors have had to report the swap to the insurance company or to the DMV?

i recommend you check out www.clublexus.com There are A LOT of 2jz swapped sc300's.
But i think i can answer your question. I wouldn't report any modifications to the insurance compnay because your insurance will then go thru the roof. Not worth it... mite as well fix or part out the car if there is an accident.

ive never reported a swap to insurance. if the motor is in there and gets f'ed in a wreck, they have to fix it. they have to pay to have the car fixed back to the way it was before the wreck.
