The compressor housing is 60, and the turbine housing is 63

Great turbo. If it really is a 57 trim, its capable of 450+whp if your head is done right.

Re: Finally Started My Project

Just to clerify there was nothing wrong with the XFC. There was something wrong with the wire harness they sent me

Well when I first installed the PCS nothing worked. It the car would not start and it would not connect to my computer. I got the car to start once, but the tach wasn't working and the car would not rev past 3K. I sent the computer back and they sent me a new one. When I hooked the new computer up I had the same problem. Then I sent the wire harness back and they sent me a new one. I hooked it up and it worked fine, but when I hooked it up on my computer the tachometer reading on the computer was not working. I called them up and I checked EVERY wire on the wire harness. We were on the phone for 3 hours.

My take on the XFC. I don't really know turner wise, I don't realy know about that stuff. But the car drive great, just like stock kinda. It sucks that I had so many problem with their product, but PCS has great customer service.

Re: Finally Started My Project

Well....... Im getting my car tuned next week and I was just wondering how much psi I should run. My goal is 190-200whp. So I was thinking about running 7psi, but how would the stock clutch stand under 7 psi? Would the clutch be slipping alot?

I am going to upgrade soon, but for now I am going to just use the stock clutch

Thanks

Re: Finally Started My Project

7 psi won't get you 200 whp on a piggyback. You need standalone for enough control to make that kind of power. I say it'll probably take at least 10 psi to get you there. Stock clutch may hold for a week at that power level...

Re: Finally Started My Project

Damned near everyone on this site will tell you to waste money on iridiums. NGK Copper plugs are MORE than sufficient. NGK part # 1283, BKR7E-11

Running colder plugs, they will foul alot sooner, no matter what. The standard copper plugs fire just fine and you're wasting your money on iridium plugs, trust me on this.

I would personally pick up the standalone before worrying about internals. Enjoy the power now and save for the internals later. That's my advice to you.

Re: Finally Started My Project

^ thats what I did. PS I use NGKs too. I'll go to pick up a case for about the cost of one set of iridiums haha. It def isnt worth the money for a boosted street car IMO. I did however just put a new set in the RSX at about 90K miles. Bet it was down 10 hp cause its a whole new animal all over again hahaha. The plugs were toast.

That's way too high. I get sets of 8 for like $16 from advance auto parts.

Re: Finally Started My Project

yeah I cant remember how many come in a case but at napa the v-power racing plugs are $2 or less last I bought em. I the ones I use say; 4091 and R5671 A-7 on the box. Rick at Trick Engineering recommended them to me and they seem pretty good to me. I gotta go get some more, I'll let ya know how many in a case.

You don't have to primer your bumper again. The existing paint on the car will act as the primer. You would just have to sand your bumper down and smooth it out them repaint it.
cool, man thanx for answering my questions!

Re: Finally Started My Project

So Ray, what's going on with it? I am ready anytime after this SRT-4.

T67Q T4 turbo @ 26 PSI + SRT-4 = 1 mean *** FWD car.

The car is runnin nice, but it is running a little rich. I am ready right now, you said you wouldn't touch it until I got a wideband, so I am just saving up. Unless you can give me an AMAZING deal on a widebad, and tune my car for free lol.
But I will let you know for sure
