if its a straight T4, its too big. a T3/t4 hybrid will work but is still pretty darn big. single slammers dont need huge turbos, they dont flow the air you need to spool it.

A T4 is not too big for a four-banger, but it is too big for our 1.7 SOHC's.

a gt40b is way too big for 1.7 maybe a bit big for a Kseries but if your going to see full boost it's pretty much a non-ball bearing gt42 give or take sum. Are you looking to sell it?

ya its a little big. i am running a t3t4 and i spool up at about 4500 and thats 8 psi...either sell it and get maybe a straight up t3 or build a k series and throw that on....

Thats a better option, good up to about 300HP, but its gonna require a custom manifold with a mitsubishi flange.
You'll have an easier time with a straight up T25 or T3 flanged turbo since you can pull a manifold off the shelf and use it.

ya it might fit under your hood but it doesnt mean that you will spool fast at all.. it is a 1.7 ltr engine and not unless u have low compression pistons and a cam and sleved your block then i really wouldnt go any bigger then a t3t4..

I'm thinking its time to read the FAQ... figure out a power goal, figure out what you want the car to do, and then start doing some individual parts research. Now, you're just fishing. And don't buy boost parts from egay.
