So what is all needed for a turbo kit. Ok so basically my cousin told me what i should do is buy the turbo, intercooler, and then the shop will weld the pipes, oil lines, and put it in. The shops charge by hour not by products. any help would be great. Thanks guys

haha you were gonna buy a turbo off ebay and you dont even know what you need? yea i wouldnt do it...maybe you should do some research first

You should read this...

I wouldn't follow some of the advice though, Home Depot is not a good place to shop for turbo stuff. Remember doing it the cheap way isnt always the smart way.

^^He said he wasn't going to be doing it even if he did buy a kit, he said from the beginning that he was going to have a shop install it. How bout you let up on the guy a lil.

still need to know how the turbo works and what to do if something happens, like all of a sudden your oil pressure drops.

He siad he wanted to peice together a kit, imo he doesn't even come close to thaving enough knowledge to put one together. Im sure all he thinks he needs a turbo and some tubing.
