World's Most Powerful d17-Check it out
I searched before asked, everything I read leads me to think you are using the emanage. But I also found a post where you told a person if they where shooting for over 300hp they better get the AEM.
It would of been easier to just type yes or no anyways.
Thanks

Andy vs. hector vs. Myika...When will we see the showdown?
Good job Andy. Again, I am proud of all the work you do...I am sure it is hard and expensive.

We will both be very impressive, just in a different way.
You have a lot more money than i do right now. But by this time next year i should have about $30k in the bank ^^
Right now im having problems buying a 1gb SD card for my camera....

Once parts, mods, and ideas get figure out it will make it alot easier and economical way for all you guys to get the same results.
It does gives a good argument that a K20 swap would be better than turbo a D17 to get this sort of numbers.
Not only a substancial amount of money has top be spent on the swap but then you'll have to turbo a K20 to reach over 300 whp and if you blow a D17 you can buy one for $200.00
Blow a K20 then you will have to pay a lot more!
I'll get mine done soon and spect to be around the same spectrum as Andy may be even better
We'll see!

but then again i got the k20a *more expensive up front and can handle less boost. How ever trading a DOHC for a SOHC i dont know.. you trade a lot in comparrison.

Yep traction is non existant. Thanks again Robb, you've been around as long as I have and deserve much respect in return.
As far as k or d series, again, it's all on your goals. If you want 500+, go k. But this proves you can have a fast d17 if you know what you're doing.
I'm really anxious to see what you put down, Glenn. You'll have to come up for a visit soon when you get some time off work, I'm sure everyone here will drool all over your car, lol.
Mike, I'm really curious to see what you've got planned, keep me posted for sure.
Hector, I welcome you to beat these numbers. Give me something more to strive for.
Engine shots are the same. Only difference is a fuel pressure regulator and return line. You can't see the cam or valvetrain.
My ultimate goal with this engine is to pull an 11 second pass. With a decent 60', I should be in the 12.1-12.5 second range somewhere, easy. Whatever horsepower it takes to get me to 11 is what I will shoot for. As for right now, with upgraded turbo, the ultimate goal is 450 whp, then I'm done. If someone wants to pull more power than that, be my guest, lol. But this is going to be a good while before I get it to an 11, I'm thinking.

Dezod's 2.5 stainless downpipe and midpipe. It ends right at the shifter assembly and is open the rest of the way back. I'm going to have to get 3" to make 450 though.
I have 15X7 konig hurries on 225/45/15 BFG Comp T/A drag radials up front and just kumho all seasons on the back. BOV is just a cheapie billet and the FMIC is like 24X8X2 or something like that. Not sure, never measured it.

My buddys 01 civic from back at home is now fully built with a new head and valvetrain system. 14psi made 330whp and 330tq. It redlined at 9k rpms and made pk tq at 7050rpms from what I remember. He just did the dyno last week but the machine shop screwed up a sleeve so there' fixing it then they're planning on running +20psi of boost. Hopefully between the two of you guys we see over 400whp in the next couple weeks.
