I'm assuming you know what you would have to run 2 different mainifolds so if the footprint on both is the same than it should work.

BATANG KANTO has a little shameless behaviour in the past
no... not a chance... unless your just talking about the turbo it self but as for the manifold, downpipe and IC piping, no its not going to fit.

nooooo way. d17 and k20 are two totally different motors. who ever told you that it will fit needs to be slapped a few times.

Yeah, the person that told you that is a total idiot. But you can basically turbo any car. Just need the right stuff.

^^ he knows that but he just wants to know if some parts are interchangable. i would assume the only things that would be interchangable are the turbo itself and the EMS like AEM EMS or Greddy E-manage.

I'm sure the intercooler can be fitted. Just got to route the charge pipes. Blow off valve would work too.

intercooler wont work, the manifold have to go, exhaust, downpipe, basically the only thing you can keep is the turbo itself and the AEM ems or the greddy emanage. which ever one they have.

AEM EMS and intercooler will work. All else will be utterly different.

The site hasn't gone mad. The OP never said "kit", all he said was "turbo" and the turbo itself can work for both.

yea the turbo will work for the k20 motors. but then again it wont work with the exhaust manifold that is supposed to work on the d17s. with the exhaust mani. that fits onto the k20 motors the turbo will work. but then im sure people already know that one....i hope.

why waste your money on turboing the d17 then later save up again and get a k20 swap? just save it all the money you have now till you have enough for the engine swap. you'll be spending more money if you go your route.

if you are sure you want to do a k20 swap i would do that first because the turbo that you would use for a d17 will probably be a little on the small side for a k20 and your gonna be spending way to much time and money doing in the steps you were planning on. either turbo the d17 and stay with it or do the k20 swap and then turbo but not both unless you just have money to throw around and then i would suggest just buying a new car

What the last two guys said. Seriously build the d17 completely or just go k20 either way I guess you have money to spend. Have fun.

yup. boosting your d17 or doing the k20, either way you gonna be hauling ***. if i were you though, i would definately go with the k20 swap. but then if you want to spend a little bit less money then just boost your d17 and go from there. trust me, turbo cars is very fun to drive.
