Plus... I've heard several ppl boasting their K series (with I/H/E) times as being LOW 14s, but i've never actual vidoes or slips?f
if i can find the 2 videos i saw a while back of the 2 integras i will post it up... if not i will try and find something similar... but stock for stock... especially at a dyno... but how can u say MINOR differences.. if you were in the k20.org forums they would literally be chewing you out now...

anyways.. aznboysrfr.. lol.. the last time i went to tracks was last month.. so i am trying to find it... i dont know if i tossed it out when we cleaned it last or wat.. but if anything imma take her to the track in a few weeks and post up that slip..

i ask this cause i ran the 14's with a passenger and subs in the trunk on street tires... and im guessing aznboysrfr is probably on the same track with using street tires.... but then again it all depends on ur mods too... all i got is an intake and exhaust...

to ask if a b18 is no better than a k20 is no comparison... if we had to integras exactly the same except one with a k20 and another with a b18 and both only had an intake and exhaust... k20 hands down would take it...

His car was gutted, running on some really crappy rubber but he is running on toda header, toda race system, toda cams, tb, IM, headwork, hondata and mase'd 176 WHP on dynodynamics

my Si-vtec integra did 14.7 with I/H/E, TB, decat and 17's with full interior sub and tools

Im just asking as I am planning to do the first K20 EM2 here in the UK and dont really want to spend £5000+ if its gonna be the same drag time as my integra which cost me half that, all the EP3 CTR's here seem to be getting 15's and high 14's, just a bit worried to be honest, i have already ordered my mount kit and looking for a flywheel and clutch upgrade, hopefully have found a k20a jdm engine recaros and brembo's :fingers crossed: so want to be sure im doing the right thing and not waisting my time and money

Homey sure but i don't care and it doesn't bother me at all if they'd be chewing me up on a k20forum for saying this... but most ppl don't know the history of honda motors... i say minor differences in the sense that the k series is actually an improvement of B series... a stock b series motor may not be as powerful as stock K, however, a built B series motor has the potential to put numbers that are very impressive.

hm, ok.

do u know how much work, time and money it takes for a b series to put out 210 whp?

k20's just need boltons and kpro

not trying to argue or anything like that.. lol

but for a stock B to match a stock K would require a few mods and work before reaching the stock HP output of a B... but take those same mods and do it to the K and it is still no match HP wise... but sometimes even thoug u may have the car with the most HP its all about how u drive it.. cause once you got all that HP its pointless unless u can put it to the goround

yeah i ran a 13.82 at 104.37mph this past weekend in my k-swapped n/a sedan on street tires. you should be hitting low 12's at like 115mph. car sounds nice though.

I guess i'm the only one sticking up for the B because i ran that setup in my previous car... lol. I loved it. And B series motors don't even cost much.

Anyhoo... can't wait to go to the track.

lol... funny u mention that... when it comes to my EM i stand strictly behind my k20 all the way.. but when it comes to my EG i still stand by my b18... haha.. i still like my B cause parts are cheaper and easier to find plus i have more knowledge building a B than a K... but my curiosity still stands behind the K cause it has more potential.. even though it still costs more...
