LoL, no i respect everybodys opinions on here in this thread, everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion and i respect that, and i would love to take my car down an hour or so to Dezods shop to be his demo car, but he doesn't need that does he ... but yea i know what your talking about brad and you have a point, turbo kits on these cars break anywayz, new or used, thats why i'm not gonna buy the Ebay kit lol, nor am i gonna buy a brand new Dezod kit for ~$4000... i have the money for a used kit, but its still way out in left field for me right now, was just throwing this out there to see what people had to say bout the idea.. and i hope the ideas keep coming, talking is what makes things happen

and yes BBCentaur... i have put together my own kit before cost me over $4500 to get all the pieces and custom work done to in the end need about another $1000 in fuel to let that bitch ride out... didn't wanna do it 2 years ago and sold it all for $2000 out the door... thats why i'm trying to get back into it, and not scared to have the DP and other weld's mocked up myself... cause again, its not a problem...

I give you props for not being a tool and I can understand why you are carefull with this stuff after all is a lot of $$

The kit on E-bay is not worth it!
If you are going to do a turbo project again don't go cheap cause you'll pay later or get frustrated and sell it.

Dezods looks like a better kit although there is not enough data yet from anyone I know using it for a period of time, but it looks like is worth the price if you want to do it right, plus you may get better service from him if something should go wrong, and he is here in Florida.
Waive your options.

Or you can put together your own kit like I did with new parts.
I'll hook you up with my builder be he is also pricey cause he is good.

But if you have your hart set on it BUY IT!
You don't need our advice.

this is what i saw in this thread. you asked for opinions and the ones that are good you threw out and argued with. why are you asking for opinions again if you dont want to listen to the experienced ones? that manifold is cheap. go look at a OBX manifold and compare them. also the turbo itself may not be of very good quality. i know i have never heard of the company that either one rebuilt it or two pieced it together. whenever you cheap out you always pay more in the end by buying replacement parts. i can give you links to reputable companies that will sell complete rebuilt turbos with warranties and we can all give you advice as to the correct parts to buy that will make your install easier. but that isnt waht you want. from your responses all you want to hear is that its a good kit and you should buy it when the general consenus is its JUNK!!

Who's your builder, the guys of Brandon Speedwerks or somethin like that? thought bout going to them the first time around but ended up going to Glenn from Hybrid Perf... dunno if Glenn is still in business though
No, Gato is here in Kissimme, he build manifolds and piping, fuel sytems etc for Titans, CFT, and all the local racers.
He is the best in Florida as far as I know.
The guys in Brandon took shortcuts and I had to redo a lot of stuff they did.
Stage 6 in Jax are expensive as hell and not really that good.

Let's keep this thread constructive.

IMO, you have 2 choices. Don't boost and save your money or buy a used kit from someone. You can buy a used kit from someone and get the turbo rebuilt to be like brand new. I know that you boosted before and I think that it messed up your engine or something. Personally, you are better off staying n/a.

Gato didn't build my manifold (he is working on a EL for me as we speak)
He charged me $800 for all the custom piping.
$900 for the Air intake with throtle body all installed.
$200 for the fuel reservoir.
EL manifold $400.00
Down pipe $250
He is busy as hell and can finish my EL mani till the end of the month, I still have to do the coating on it and on my turbo housing.
I'm taking my time and I don't really care to rush it.
