Tuning today!!!
Ok, so today i am taking my ride to get it tuned at Mainstream Perfomance
ok so my set up:
Tsi kit
t-25 with 6psi
v-afc2
rsx-s injectors
hoping for like 150whp
wish me luck

v-afc2
rsx-s injectors

wish me luck
guess what.... its lower... its like 140whp...
the tuner told me... the injectors maxed out at 4,000 rpm
well, this sux
i am guessing i need to clean my injectors or just get bigger injectors...
but i know for sure those injectors work with 6psi of boost
any suggestions??/

You can tune with them, but there are going to be problems. Eddie at true honda told me not to do it...
for what its worth.

rsx-s injectors should not be maxed out at 4k rpms unless you're making like 220 whp

do you think, they just need to be cleaned or something

temo was able to max out his type S injectors at 230 whp at 7000 rpms ... I'm running at 89% duty at 8500 rpms with 220 whp. even though we are n/a k20's, but that's not the point ...
your injectors should not be anywhere near maxed out at 140 whp unless you're running like 1:1 a/f.

Edit ~
Even at 7 psi normal ecu duty cycle is only 55%, thanks to the emanage/boost sensor i was able to get it up to 76% at 7psi, at 9psi duty cycle is around 85%. SO i guess 8 lb MAX would be safe with the stock fuel system and rsx injectors/emange.............and about 3-4 psi if your using a Vafc an engine management.

How is a catalytic converter gonna cause the injectors to max out

1) The cat could be hindering flow, therefore creating a mass of TQ that forms low in the RPM band. With an excessive amount of TQ in one spot, an inexperienced or unobservative tuner will deem it as maybe a lean spike in AFR and continue to throw fuel without resolution at it. He may be doing this because he is not datalogging the AFRs, but just merely reading off of a real time gauge display.
(similar scenario to Boiler....throwing fuel into a dead, fried converter that is hindering flow). I have seen inexperienced or unobservative tuners do dumb things and not think.
Excessively rich mixtures will destroy converters in no time.
ALSO: If he is using the e-manage he may have the voltage clamp set too low, which will cause the injectors to max out sooner. This is because the MAP is not seeing anything past say 60% throttle, so now you have to cover fuel for partial throttle and boost, which the 310ccs at the stock fuel pressure can not accomodate. So hence a super quick max out on duty cycle.
But hey, what do I know? I only have boosted 100's of 7thgens.

...Boiler, you'r right, my comment about your issue should've sounded differently. Sorry it it had affected you somehow.

so, taking off the missing link is the solution

^^
You'll need something for the map sensor, ML is the easiest to install (mechanical method), also there is option with emanage (electronic method), and the last one is a check valve (works as missing link)...oh yes and TSI black box (emange like method), I have one, but I'm not using it, I have Missing link.

i had the black box too but i took it off its wasnt doing its job.. got missing link
i am still trying to figure out why my injectors max out at 4,000
and the car runs lean at like 3,200rpm
dude at mainstream performance recommended 450cc dsm injectors and a resistor box
also bigger fuel pump
