dude at mainstream performance recommended 450cc dsm injectors and a resistor box
also bigger fuel pump

Use the E-manage because it is far more superior than the unit your using now. Use the voltage clamp on the unit and call it a day. I already explained why she is lean.

With an excessive amount of TQ in one spot, an inexperienced or unobservative tuner will deem it as maybe a lean spike in AFR and continue to throw fuel without resolution at it. He may be doing this because he is not datalogging the AFRs, but just merely reading off of a real time gauge display.
(similar scenario to Boiler....throwing fuel into a dead, fried converter that is hindering flow). I have seen inexperienced or unobservative tuners do dumb things and not think.
Excessively rich mixtures will destroy converters in no time.
ALSO: If he is using the e-manage he may have the voltage clamp set too low, which will cause the injectors to max out sooner. This is because the MAP is not seeing anything past say 60% throttle, so now you have to cover fuel for partial throttle and boost, which the 310ccs at the stock fuel pressure can not accomodate. So hence a super quick max out on duty cycle.
But hey, what do I know? I only have boosted 100's of 7thgens.

. Like i said in my earlier post, His injectors are running the MAX they can with the voltage sent out from the ECU,.Read the post man Hes using VAFC NOT emanage
BoostedVik you need Emanage to INCREASE the voltage AKA pulse AKA duty cycle to your injectors, CLEARLY 310 cc at 50% duty cycle will NOT be suffiencent enough for 6 psi of boost
your obviouly dealing with someone who deals with bseries motors if they are recommending 440cc/vafc.

7thgencivic.com people are set in a tunnel, there is one way and thats it... you dont bother to look at options that are cheaper to make this work.... i think its cheaper to get dsm injectors and fuel pump then buying emanage and deal with its headaches.............. making stupid comments doesnt help me and coming from a person that is suppose to know a lot
Well go ahead and get them 440cc injectors and the fuel pump.. but rember the 440cc injectors wont fit in our fuel rail so ur gunna need 2 buy a D16 intake mani and swap that thing in there 2 get the injectors 2 work on our car, witch means more $$$$$ emanage is cheap! go sell something u have that u dont use like the missin link or some games damn

Boosted I strongly believe you are missing the "BIG PICTURE" hear.
The answer isn’t more fuel. Its need a diferent different duty cycle.
Just dumping more & more fuel into your car is not going to benefit you. (well I guess it might)
While you car is still reading the "stock" duty cycle. It needs to be tuned properly.

I have been boosting 7thgens since 2001. Do you think I have not tried tons of viable solutions? The stock fuel rail and IM make it hard or impossible to do so. This is not a D15,D16,B18...............The D17 is it's own animal. I have boosted 100's of these cars. Many members on here are boosted and have tried things on their own. AEM was supposed to come out with a fuel rail now for 3 YEARS!!! There is a reason why all of this is the way it is. Thank you.
