b20 in a 2002

i searched around and didnt find any relevent information on swapping out the d17 for a b20. just wanted to know how easy/hard it would be to put one in, if i need new front axles (like the k20 swap) etc etc. let me know if you can

Very hard since there has only been 1 B swap I have seen into a 7th gen on this site, and its all custom work.

Keep in mind this is going to cost so much in custom work, and is illegal unless Honda had b20s in other 2002 cars (which i dont think they did!), that you might as well do a K swap and actually be legal to drive your car on the road.

Anotherslo1 is an unknown quantity at this point
Currently (i believe) there is no kit out for a b-series swap into a 7th gen civic. I only heard of one person who has a b-series in a 7th gen and he Fabricated everything. Honostly, it might be cheaper, cuz of wiring diagrams, kits, etc.. to just go with a K-series if your interested in swapping. Plus. k-series is so much more dominant over the old b-series. (IMO)

actually there are only 2 that i know of.. there is one guy who custom fabricated everything... and there is also the AEM 7thgen civic that has one in it also....

there is too much work needed.. you need custom mounts.. then you have to relocate the steering rack and pinion and so forth..

so it aint worth the amount to begin with

Isn't the AEM Civic just a 7thgen shell with a tube frame chassis?
I don't think it counts.

a 7thgen is still a 7thgen.. they started with the frame of a 7thgen.. redid the engine bay to accomodate the B-series motor.. and put in some other stuff and cut out a panel here and there
