stage 2 on the way

i have a intake header cat exhaust and a vafc2, i have type s injecters crower stage 2 cam and the valve springs and retainers on the way... my question would be has anyone sprayed on the stage 2 if so how big of a shot did you use... what kit.. did you have to boost the fuel pressure or change to a returned fuel system... any 1 with dyno #s or track times and what your over all experience with the cam and nitrous was... and if any1 has a cam gear for sale pm me

I would ditch the vafc and get emanage.. Only because you might need to do some timing adjustment with spray and new cam... For a better tune a return fuel system is needed, with an upgraded pump.

You should be running in the 13's with about 200 whp with a 75 shot and good tune

But I dont think im gona spray! (I dont want to buy EMS or Emang)

I'll tune my cam with my vafc2 though!

talk to djmota he has that same set up and sprays i think he made like 188whp and 189wtq and 133whp N/a here is the thread

02 black civic i am going to tune mine with my vafc and a cam gear im getting the injectors cam and s&r's by the end of the week and im gunna install on friday or saturday the way i figure it is i tuned a supercharged ls vtec with 11.5 compression running on 3 cyl with skunk 2 stage two cams with a vtec controller i think i can manage my car but i will let you know how it all works out if everything goes good this weekend i will have enough money for the n2o and maybe a dyno pull next week dont worry ill post numbers i think i can make some decent numbers just from the things ive already done i can feel a serious difference i went to the track stock when i first got the car and ran a 16.6s all day so i am hoping now after everything when i am done tuning i will break 14s and if any1 is selling a nitrous set up pm me

You will run 14's with nitrous.

You more then likely won't run in the 14's unless you have nitrous/turbo/swap.

is your parts list up to date scansel? im not bagging on you but you hit a 14.1 with out the cam shouldnt i hit 13s with the cam spraying?

Yeah I think you should hit 13's with the cam, I was just saying when you have just nitrous, you can hit 14's no problem.

I dont' have a cam or any internals or tuning of anykind. Just I/H/E and NAWZ

i dont think anyone has hit a 13 yet even with the stg2 cam and nitrous so youll be the first as far as i know. you are going to run into idle problems tuning with the vafc. as i stated before talk to djmota he has the same set up as you and the link i posted shows his dyno pulls

most of the stuff you are asking for can be found in my pics and profile. vafc2 will not be able to control the type s injectors. Stock injectors will be fine for your set up. I am also assuming that you are getting a wet kit. Most members can get super low 14's with just a 75 shot and bolt ons. with the cam and a 75 shot I think 13's should possible. my fuel pressure and system are stock and my af ratios are safe. I have only ran a 50 shot at the track so far, but my dyno was on a 75 shot. Once they open my local track I plan on hitting 13's with just a 65 shot. Look into a race header or test pipe to get rid of your cat. Also if you are planning on going to a 75 shot you might want to start saving for a clutch. The stock one will hold for a while but will slip sooner or later. enjoy

Yeah I have a clutch laying in my room waiting until the stock one takes a poop on me.

I think we should all be able to hit 13's this summer for sure.

Already got my 4 puck guys.

I didnt plan on changing my stock fuel system.

I dont mind idle issues.

I'd LOVE to see 13's. If you break 13's with "naws" I'll spray for shur!!!

i tuned 370 injectors with the vtec controller and i know people tuning 550s too i wont know until i get started which hopefully that will be soon im looking into a clutch and fly wheel already and the right kit im thinking venom but i might go with nos i already have the 2 piece header 4-1 then i have a straight through test pipe and a cat back so i think i am good on the exhaust side i was thinking about a p&p job but i think honda does for the most part a good job in there head designs we will see though

and i got the injectors pretty much free so they cant hurt im looking into the emanage because id like to tune my timing and im hunting for a way to raise the rev limiter

emanage wont allow you to rasie the rev limiter. and vafc's wont allow you to reduce fuel just add it

the only piggy back that will control type s injectors on a na 7th gen is emanage. Also I think you will get a better tune for that cam on emanage.
the only way to raise the rev limiter on a 7th gen is with aem ems.

i agree ems would be amazing because im going to need the higher rev to get all my power but i dont see 1400 $ going to that anytime soon 02 you dynod 133 with what mods
